A project I started this year (2018) to compete in the University Rover Challenge (URC). We are building a fully autonomous rover capable of carrying out remote experiments to detect signs of life. In addition to serving as the systems engineer, I designed most of the mechanics along with all of the electronics for the rover. I also had a large hand to play in the wireless communication system and biological assays, personally designing the entire scientific apparatus. I also personally raised nearly $19000 for this project in order to maintain successful adherence to project timelines.
